We ordered pickup and the food was awesome and there was a lot of it! They were a little backed up so we had to wait a few minutes past our pickup time but it was well worth it.....the brisket was tender and flavorful and the garlic mashed potatoes were sooo good! We will definitely be back when we come to Thibodaux!

Super nice employee. Very good experience! Glad I ate from Big Mikes today! You should try it! ((4-26-23)) Always a great meal. Service is fast! Employees super friendly! I usually order curbside or I go in to pick it up. But when I go in it seems to be a nice atmosphere. Sometimes it can be a little loud. They will have the music or a band playing and it can get loud. Many people probably like it that way. So, I’m not gonna complain, just order pick up and go. the food though is so good! I haven’t tried one bad thing yet there!

We just got in from Canyon Lake Texas to visit our daughter. They took us to this busy barbecue restaurant and as packed as they were, I thought it would be a while before we put our order in and so on. And actually the general manager came out, got us through the line made sure we had what we wanted, and got us seated within 25 minutes with it being as busy as it was on a Friday night with a live band. As far as the food, the barbecue was awesome if you’re ever in this small part of the world, this is a place you need to stop, rest your heels and taste
We had a fantastic experience at Big Mike’s Barbecue! The generous portions and quality of the food really stood out. The garlic mashed potatoes and sliced brisket seem to have been particular highlights. I enjoyed both the sweet heat and original barbecue sauces. Their constituent's Carolina pulled pork sandwich also made a positive impression. Highly recommend Big Mike’s barbecue!
The atmosphere here was great. It was cool, clean, and a bit noisy but that's ok as it gives a sports like feel.. the food was ok for me. The meal we got was not what you expected for the 22. It was small. When you get a 3 meat combo and you pick your meet., you get 1 small ice-cream size scoop of pulled pork, one small sliver piece of brisket and one small spare rib. The flavor was not there like it use to be. The sides were the green beans. The flavor was good but very greasy. When you would bite into it, it would squirt out and ooze all over. Next time I will try a cheaper menu item as it looked like you get more as the group we were with did. Great place to hang. Not the cheapest place but if you want BBQ and a sports like feel, that's the place to go.
Awesome every single time! This place truly is one of the best BBQ places in southern Louisiana. Portions are huge, the meat is cooked low and slow, the environment is so welcoming, and the menu covers something for everyone. What is there not to love. Big Mike’s is a must try. Never disappointed.
